Remember PAYGO?

Pay as You Go was the wonderful, seriously, piece of legislation that Clinton signed in the 1990’s that said Congress had to find a way to pay for any new spending projects it wants to sign into law. Even though this legislation was in place it did not stop the national debt from rising, contrary to Democrats memory or did they forget 1995 when the government shutdown because the Republicans refused to raise the debt ceiling.
Anyhow, Bush threw out PAYGO soon after he was elected and the Democrats in an effort to look fiscally responsible recently reinstituted the law. Now, this was a nice gesture, but in order to actually abide by it you have to care about following the law, which they do not, i.e. Chris Dodd and Rangel. Where am I going with this? Health care reform which we were promised would be deficit neutral, which I said was a complete lie because Pelosi and Company are nothing but liars, Republicans included.
The bill that just made it out of committee is not giving you the full picture because there was a problem for the doctors. You see, Medicare only pays doctors a few dollars per office visit, which is criminal in my opinion, and next year the meager $16 to $24 per office visit was going to be cut in half. Nothing against doctors, but they paid good money for their congressional representatives, check OpenSecret.org to see for yourself, so Pelosi and Company voted to get rid of that and raise what Medicare pays doctors for the next 10 years, which is a good thing.
However, what the slime balls did not tell us, the people, is that this raise to doctors is going to cost $250 billion a year AND they only added the first years cost to the health care reform bill and then it disappears. In other words, they claim that the doctors raises will just go away after the first year and is only part of health care reform in the first year, huh? I am sorry, but are we stupid or something? That makes the whole budget neutral or, the most laughable CBO estimate yet, “this will reduce the deficit by $82B in 10 year” statement a complete and utter lie.
There is no other way to put it, we are being lied to by our representatives. In fact, just this pay raise to doctors alone, which they do deserve, I might add, will cost an additional $2.5 trillion dollars over 10 years. There is no savings, this is not budget neutral and this will completely bankrupt America as we know it. President Obama promised to veto any bill that adds one cent to the deficit, how about $2.5 trillion dollars President Obama, will you veto that? Not only that, but this bill violates PAYGO since there is no way to pay for it nor has Congress offset any spending to compensate for this new gem.
We are being robbed, again, by our leaders and I have to ask how much more will you take before you tell them enough is enough? President Obama lies to you every day when he tells you he inherited this mess because he helped create this when he was in Congress. President Obama lies to you when he says he inherited a trillion dollar deficit, he inherited a $403B deficit and has added $1T to it in 9 months and technically we still have 3 months left in the year. Some estimate by the calendar end of the year President Obama will have authorized some $1.7T in new spending that is $1.3T more than he inherited and there is only so much you can blame on “the last guy.”
Finally, in regards to Bus, who was the worst President ever, yes he spent $1T on 2 wars, but that was over 8 years, not 9 months and who in the world told you that 2 wrongs made a right? Let us not forget, because we are not stupid after all, that Democrats had control over Congress since 2006 so when you are talking about cleaning up the “mess” who’s mess are you talking about you God damned jackass? Now, before I get called a racist, because that is in vogue to call all dissenters nowadays just like when Bush was in charge I would be called a traitor, I am not and if you want to sink to that level clearly you have no argument so just shut up and try picking an actual fact to dispute.
